This hotel is attached to the Convention Centre. The hotel is also close to The
Old Ryman, NEW Country Music Hall of Fame, Wild Horse Saloon, Ernest Tubb Original
Record Shop, Planet Hollywood.

Friday 23rd July: Fly to San Antonio, Texas (Jim Reeve’s favourite City)
Saturday 24th July: See the sights of San Antonio
(The Riverwalk – The Alamo & Far West Rodeo)
Sunday 25th July: After Lunch travel to Austin, Texas (State Capitol)
Monday 26th July: Visit to Birthplace of Jim Reeves. See the Monument at Carthage & see the places Jim Reeves saw growing up.
Tuesday: 27th July: Travel to Memphis, Tennessee (See Elvis’ Graceland, Beale Street, Sun Recording Studios, Peabody Hotel (Ducks) Lorraine Motel where Martin Luther King was killed.
Wednesday 28th July: Travel to Nashville staying at the 4 Diamond Renaissance Hotel, which is close to all downtown activities.
Thursday 29th July: Tour of Nashville including “Hall Of Fame Museum”, “Music Row” and Stars Homes.
Friday 30thJuly: More attractions and places to visit in Nashville including “General Jackson” Riverboat
Saturday 31st July: A time to remember Jim Reeves. We visit the area where the plane crashed in 1964 and meet and talk with people who knew Jim Reeves. Later, visit to “Grand Ole Opry” & Grand Ole Opry Museum + Opry Mills Shopping
Sunday 1st August: A “Special Dinner” to celebrate the Music of Jim Reeves.
Monday 2nd August: Travel to Nashville Airport for our flight back to UK. Arriving home approx 9am on Tuesday 3rd August 2004

American Tours since 1981 and will personally ensure that
High Standards are maintained throughout the entire holiday.
In the unlikely event that you have ANY kind of a problem, we will be on
hand to see that it is dealt with immediately to your satisfaction.
Joe has been involved in Country Music Radio for over 27years with Silk
FM, BBC GMR, Key 103, and Piccadilly Radio in Manchester and is currently with BBC
Radio Lancashire with 2 programmes each week.
WE
NEVER CANCEL HOLIDAYS:
Unlike some other companies, once we accept your booking for a Country
Music Holiday, we NEVER cancel a Tour!!
WANT
TO CHANGE YOUR OUTWARD OR RETURN FLIGHT?
We are aware that you may wish to extend your holiday and “do
your own thing” either before the Tour begins, or after the Tour ends and
we would be pleased to arrange the holiday to
meet your individual
needs.
If you advise us at the time of booking there is
usually NO
EXTRA CHARGE
for
personalised flights with similar itineraries!
INDIVIDUAL
HOLIDAYS:
One of
the most important aspects to remember is that our Tours are unique in that they
are planned and organised with the individual
in mind and therefore you can join in whenever YOU wish to and do your own thing
whenever YOU want to. In other words “Group
Tours” where all passengers
are treated as individuals!!! Your
Tour Escort will be available to answer all of your questions and offer advice
wherever it is needed. Single
persons will never feel out of place and, although there is a single room
supplement if you require a single room, there is
no
extra supplement if you are willing to share!!!
PRIVATE
CHARTER BUS:
For
your comfort, all of our Premium Tours feature a private
recent model Charter Bus which is Air-Conditioned and include; T.V. Video,
On-Board Toilet & Reclining Seats.
Also, unlike some other companies, we ensure that you DO
NOT spend your holiday on a Bus! We
rarely leave our hotel before 9am and we arrive at our destination early enough
for you to enjoy the facilities at the hotel and the local attractions and bars.
On request we will provide you with the total approx mileage that we
expect to travel each day.

Unlike some other companies, we do
not just drop off at our hotel after arriving at a particular
destination
– The Bus is usually available in the evening at
no extra
charge to take us to local attractions, local area
or bars.
NO
SMOKING POLICY – CHARTER BUS:
We should point out that, for the benefit
and comfort of all passengers, there is a NO-SMOKING
policy on our Bus. This has
proved an extremely popular policy and without doubt, it helps keep a wonderful
atmosphere throughout, ensuring a “Friendly
